Marine Industry Leader Introduces Patented Outdoor-Grade Sunshade Systems to the RV Industry at RVX “The RV Experience” Event
SureShade, the U.S. designer and manufacturer of patented retractable sunshade systems for the marine industry, has expanded to the RV segment by debuting their patented, outdoor-grade retractable sunshade systems at the 2019 RVX: The RV Experience event held by RV Industry Association in Salt Lake City March 12-14, 2019. The dealer-focused market development event showcased the latest concepts in recreational vehicles and RV accessories.
RVX served as SureShade’s official introduction to the RV industry showcasing their outdoor-grade shade that promises to elevate the typical RV awning experience. Building on SureShade’s 10 years of experience outfitting boats in the marine industry, SureShade enters the RV segment with a market-proven sunshade product that is thoroughly field-tested to stand up to the elements of harsh outdoor environments.
Other unique design features that differentiate SureShade RV from typical RV awnings include:
- The ability to withstand winds up to 50 MPH (requiring no wind sensor)
- The ability to camber components for aesthetics and rain run-off
- Self-supported framework with no annoying side mounting poles
- A sturdy stainless steel framework that is virtually indestructible
The SureShade RV showcase also featured some of the first recreational vehicle installations with SureShade on custom Mercedes Sprinter Vans that included integrations with RoamBuilt roof racks. The versatility of SureShade RV applications covers a variety of recreational vehicles from motorized homes and campervans to towable and specialty trailers.
